Not only the mechanical clockwork of a Hermle clock but also its complete inner workings are produced by us, in-house: base plate, drive device, winder, wheel device, display device, escapement or escapement control. One detail meshes seamlessly into the next - the basis of the highest accuracy and precision. It is only the cases, made from high-quality woods, which are supplied to us. They all come from proven partners of many years' standing, all located in the direct vicinity of Gosheim, the centre of Hermle clock manufacture.
Even though the production methods have changed enormously in many sectors since the company was founded in 1922, the large clocks at Hermle are still made 80 % by hand. Broad experience, creativity and the virtues of German craftsmanship are of course irreplaceable here. Hermle Uhrenmanufaktur combines this with an extensive machine park, which also contains cam-operated automatic turning machines and CNC Swiss-type lathes.
You can find more information on the individual clock types - whether classic or modern, floor clocks, wall clocks, table clocks, ship's clocks or regulators - in the interactive Clocks Catalogue, which can also be comfortably downloaded.
