Franz Hermle founded the clock Company in Gosheim/
Württemberg in 1922 and by 1930 had established a full clock
manufacturing facility. Of course, in the first half of the 20th
century there were many diffi culties to overcome, including the
complete dismantling of the factory after the world conflict of
that time. Once again Franz Hermle and his sons, employing
tremendous willpower and energy, built the company up to
achieve and exceed all previous levels of quality and
efficiency. In 1977, Hermle established a manufacturing
capacity, Hermle Black Forest Clock Company, serving mainly
the North American market, in Amherst, Virginia, USA.

Gosheim, and at Hermle Mechanische Uhrwerke und Drehteile
GmbH, Reichenbach, using the very latest state-of-the-art

according to DIN ISO 9001:2000, ensuring that both in-house
and OEM production is maintained to the very highest level.
